pertaining to peripheral vision: was using a navigation system for a car.

1) attempted to place the display on the steering wheel which updates speed and direction simultaneously and doesnt have drivers attention taken from the road found that since the wheel isnt stationary, the information may be unusable and or confusing.

2) attempted same thing using a HUD. showed arrows on the road. very complicated and debatable whether or not it was distracting.
