- All the source for Unity are inside + a compiled up-to-date version called OculusPilot.exe
System Requirements
- Windows 8 or 8.1
- Oculus driver : https://developer.oculusvr.com/?action=dl /!\ ACCOUNT NEEDED, free to create
- Same address for SDK/driver and unity plug-in (currently use for the system: SDK version 0.3)
- The application use the same DLL for touch detection than OrMiS
- Compiled in 32bits (x86) - DLL requirement
Install and Run
- The executable file is called OculusPilot.exe
- It comes with a file called: oculus_study_config.ini. Here is the current format:
- IsServer = True //Say is this machine host the Janus server, usually that's the table
- IsBirdView = True //Say if it's the tabletop diplay
- ServerAdress = 127.0.0.1 //Address of the server
How to setup the application
Tabletop PC
- Make sure touches are active in Window8 mode
- Run application on tabletop first /!\ Don't move anything on the table
Oculus PC
- Make sure you have the Oculus firmware + driver on the Oculus machine
- Plug the Oculus and run the "Oculus Configuration Utility" program to calibrate it
- Run application on the Oculus --> if the configuration files have been correctly filled it should be working
- Have fun
NOTA: the sound is played when a piece of furniture is moving is produced by the Oculus client's speakers
