== System Requirements ==
XSI's base system requirements are listed [http://www.softimage.com/products/xsi/v42/SysReqs here]. Of particular interest are the video card requirements. SoftImage has certified [http://www.softimage.com/partners/xsi/Hardware_Partners/Hardware_Cert/windows_xp_v4.htm several video cards] for use with XSI. These are cards that will not be familiar to people who follow gaming cards - apparently SoftImage doesn't consider gaming cards to have sufficiently high fidelity for modeling work. We have found that numerous cards, some surprisingly low-end, work just fine with the XSI. Your mileage may vary - we certainly haven't done the level of testing that SoftImage has in their certification program. However, here are some of the graphics cards that we have found to work:
* NVidia GeForce 4200TI and 4400TI

== Ogre and XSI ==
Ogre has been integrated with XSI:

== XSI and Kaydara ==
[http://www.alias.com/eng/about/welcome/index.shtml Kaydara] is software supporting motion capture. To use Kaydara with XSI:
* In Kaydara, export the motion caputure in BVH format
* In XSI, import the motion capture ( file > import > biovision file ).
